Hello everybody.. Welcome to F3 Recipes. I’m Gulrukh here & I’m going to teach you ” A Parsi Sweet Dish – CHAPAT” It’s like a pancake. The ingredients are:- You’ll need a Raw Egg Clarified Butter, Green Cardamom , Sugar All purpose flour, Milk, Charoli & Essence. You can use either Vanilla Essence or Rose Essence. Let’s start by adding some all purpose flour in a bowl Let’s try and start with 3 tbsp & then Sugar If you want it a little more sweeter, you can add but otherwise 2 tbsp should be enough. Raw Egg & Milk A pinch of green cardamom & a little bit of essence. You can measure it with one ring in the top First you beat it up & then if you think that it is too thick Then add a little more of milk Whip this, it should be good pouring consistency. In the meantime warm your hot plate And let your flat pan ( tawa) heat up. Now once this is beaten you can add Charoli Some people like to add Raisins also but then that burns by the time your CHAPAT is done. So let’s stick to the Charoli for the moment. There its all blended well If your tawa is warm enough Add a little bit of Clarified Butter Make sure it doesn’t splutter. Spread it around so that it greases the whole tawa. Let it warm again, take a nice deep spoon, big spoon full of the batter. Pour it on If you have a flat bottomed one, that would be better and help you to spread it around. Otherwise even this will do Try to make a big hole, round Otherwise a few maps here and there won’t go a stir. Then wait… till it browns on one side.. and then flip it over. It takes patience but don’t burn it Then egg in it will really make it cook well…. Once you know that its cooked well on one side Flip it over in the opposite direction. Don’t flip it towards you otherwise you might get burnt with the hot Clarified butter splattering on yourself. See this is how you flipped it over… Didn’t burn yourself and making the next side cook well. Keep a plate ready so that you can take it out on done. Ok.. Now that this is done.. golden brown.. you take it out on a plate And its the best breakfast snack you would like Savoury and sweet. Enjoy… Like and share if you like this video.
