🤯💪🏼 ARE YOUR PECS ACTIVATING? THIS KI-HARA STRETCH CAN TELL! RESISTANCE STRETCHING IS KEY


hey there it’s Carrie from Stretch Chi I just want to thank you for coming back again today. This arm day workout. We’re going to do a stretch for your pecs. It’s a bit of a strength stretch. It’s a push up. We’re
going to focus on down motion of the push-up, the negative, or what’s called eccentrics. So, we’re basically going to go closer to
the floor and open our arms up like this. That stretches all the pecs from your
sternum all the way out to the outside of your shoulders then you might even get
bicep stretch with this too It’s kind of lovely. So we’re actually just going to go into
a push-up position kind of a plank I’m going to do these stretches off of my knees
because I feel like that’s the best for me. You are welcome to do these off of
your feet although you may find these are a little trickier than just your
basic push-ups. So what you’re going to do is take your arms wide, wide apart and go into
your plank position I actually have my hands off of my mat and in this plank and I’m
going to pretend like I’m zipping up my tightest pair of pants, like my skinny jeans,
that gets your abs in a good place for holding a plank, that’s really easy. Then from here,
elbows wide, you’re going to very slowly drop down as far as you can and still hold your core stability and then push back up. You don’t have to
all the way to the ground. Down for stretch, up for strength. As I’m going down into this
stretch, I’m feeling it across the front of my shoulders. If you feel this stretch to
the back of your shoulders and your neck it means that you need to problem solve.

videos are actually a series of stretches for your upper body that will
unlock your pecs so you can actually get them working again. It’s neuromuscular
stuff, it’s removing barriers from other places. It’s pretty fantastic. So if you
notice that you’re feeling the stretch in the back of your shoulders your neck, You’re going to need to problem-solve and it’s awesome so go ahead and try it out. I’m
going to do one more. Arms are wide very slow to the floor and then I push
back up for strength and that’s your arm stretch for the day! See you next time!
