10 Min Third Eye Chakra Yoga Routine | DAY 6: 7 Day Chakra Yoga Challenge | ChriskaYoga


hi I’m Christina and welcome to yoga
with Christina, ChriskaYoga! today I will be doing the sixth video in the
chakra yoga series Yoga for your chakras this one is about the third eye
or brow chakra located right between your eyebrows on your face to learn more
in depth about each chakra where they’re located and the things that it governs
within your body you can check out my new book that is coming out on February

and energize the body and mind through the chakras and through yoga
specifically designed for each chakra it includes sequences and poses that are
designed to balance and heal your body and it’s a great demystifying guide to

yoga mat and let’s begin on your hands and knees coming into Child’s Pose touch
your big toes together separate your knees apart relax your hips down onto
your heels and bring your forehead to the ground reach your arms out in front
of you come inward focusing on your breath slowly make your way up back to hands
and knees bring your shins parallel to one another we’ll take a melting heart
stretch bring your forehead down to the floor keeping your hips up stretch your
arms out in front of you bring your chest down towards the ground open your
shoulders and open your armpits towards the floor hold here I’m two sitting on the ground we’ll take
a cow pose gomukhasana bringing your left leg to bending and bring the knee
pointed forward and the left heel in towards the right glute to cross the
right leg on top of the left and try your best to align your knees with one
another but if they do not align don’t force anything just keep your legs
stacked reach your arms out to the side and both
of your arms and have them meet at the upper back hooking them together point
your right elbow up and your left elbow down setting up tall on two sits bones
at the bottom of your pelvis hold here and breathe and release her hands uncross her legs
and switch sides stacking the left leg on top of the right the right heel is in
towards the left glute the side of your left foot is on the floor and your knees
are either in line with one another or slightly off it doesn’t matter as long
as you are comfortable and you’re feeling a gentle stretch and the outer
hips of both of your legs once your legs are settled reach your arms out to the
side raise your left arm up lower your right arm Bend both of your elbows and
clasp your hands together at the upper back once your hands and arms are
settled sit up tall close your eyes and deepen your breath release your hands uncross your legs
come to hands and knees and then make your way onto your belly
we’ll take a prone shavasana this is shavasana lying on your belly
instead of lying on your back your legs are separated relax your limbs and then
stack your hands on top of one another bending your elbows at the top of your
yoga mat you can keep your hands here bring your forehead to the top of your
hands or you can do what I’m doing here bringing your hands down to the ground
and turn your head to one side if you choose to do it this way I will instruct
you when to turn your head to the opposite direction once you’re settled
with your head turn to one side or on top of your hands relax here close your
eyes and deepen your breath and hold slowly lift your head up and switch
sides can’t sleep bring your head back to
centre if it’s not there already make your way up and come to a seated
position cross your shins flex your feet bring
your hands to your legs sit up tall breathe deeply through your nose bring
your hands to meet at the center of your chest to bow your head to your
