300,000+ unite in Global Naam Yoga event for peace and healing


we were measuring the effect of this
large group of people coming together to meditate on individual brainwaves essentially every chronic disease that
we know today has been linked to stress stress isolates you and meditation and
activation of your parasympathetic nervous system engages you with others
when you engage with others your entire body moves into a state of healing and a
state of decision-making the brain can either be in a mode of
stress or a mode of relaxation so it’s two ways of living and achieving a
balance between the two is the goal of yoga my business career is I’m the founder of
Equinox Fitness Club I’d been on a spiritual journey since I’d been 28 and
instantly when I started doing the NAAM technique and the sacred sounds and the
chanting it was as if all my worries and all my fears just dissipated immediately
and I was really moved by that I have a very skeptical mind
and if I don’t see it I don’t believe it now I’ve seen enough life change in Naam
I’ve seen couples that we’re going to get divorced after 40 years and they’re
together I’ve seen women that were told they would never be able to have
children and they have a beautiful baby completely healthy I’ve seen people that
were given seven weeks of life and they’re still alive
I’ve seen a lot of beautiful things Naam Yoga brings people together it’s a
practice that embraces all hearts there is no separation we’re all we’re all in
this one big boat which is the earth if you zoom out you go all the way up
and then you look into this planet it’s like a boat and we’re all here we’re all
interconnected the whole earth feels our energy at the end of the superclass
everybody is full of joy in their hearts I was struck by how deep and effective
it was with such little practice with Naam yoga you have sound it’s very
rhythmical you have direct vocalization vibration
connecting to your brainstem and third because everything is done with mantra
and you’re extending your exhalation for very long periods of time you are
lowering your breath rate in the brainstem which by default will lower
the rate of the heart so it’s very physiological more so than other types
of meditation, such as mindfulness, so this works top down and bottom up felt good in my body, it felt good in my
mind and I saw results quickly this is a way this is one possibility that can
help someone change their lives forever like there is a before and after it’s open to all ages all religions
everybody can feel home in Naam
