To begin this meditation come to lying down on The ground on your back you can lie down on a bed Or you can sit up in a chair with your feet flat on the ground sitting up tall Or even sitting on the ground in a cross-legged position Just be sure whatever you are that your spine remains straight and you’re comfortable Once you are settled in a comfortable position where you can remain for the duration of this meditation Close your eyes and begin to deepen your breathing Breathe in through the nose expanding the ribcage to let the air into your body Breathe out through the nose Drawing the ribs back in and releasing the air out Inhale lengthen your spine exhale Relax your shoulders down away from your ears Repeat that inhale lengthen the spine feel your ribcage expanding wide Exhale bring the ribs back in soften the shoulder muscles away from your ears Focusing on the breath and what’s going on inside your body? You have nowhere to be nothing to do at this very moment This time is for you So set aside any worries or Thoughts that might be distracting you from the breath If they pop into your head from time to time without judgment without harmful criticism just notice the thought is there and Then gently watch it drift away as you come back to focusing on your breath You deserve this time for yourself Imagine as you’re breathing and as you’re focusing on the movement of your body in your breath Imagine that With each exhale your body is relaxing deeper and deeper every muscle joint foam every part of your body is relaxing a little bit deeper each time you exhale You’re exhaling and releasing the tension and stress out of your body When you inhale you’re bringing in calm and groundedness Failure inhales generating poem collected and browned, ‘add energy empowering you and Helping to fuel your body and your mind Athene exhale the stress and tension melts away Melting from your muscles and joints and bones Drifting far away And once the tension has left you You are invited to notice a lighter feeling in your body Almost as if you’re floating Notice the body floating from the lightness Breathing in palm Breathing out and release relax You Take one final deep inhale and exhale through the nose When you’re ready gently begin to let the light into your eyes Slowly open your eyes and complete your meditation
