Advanced Arm Balance Yoga Poses : Side Pro Pose Arm Balances in Advanced Yoga


Hi! My name is Leta Koontz and I’m a yoga
instructor at Schoolhouse Yoga in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I’m here today on behalf of
Expert Village to teach you some arm balances. If you’re feeling comfortable with regular
standard pro, it’s time to try side pro. For side pro you’re going to turn your body to
the side. You’re going to bring your hands to that same place where your palms are shoulder
distance. You’re going to keep your elbows in line with your shoulder and you’re going
to bring one elbow into the middle of your leg, your thigh, and you’re going to turn
so again your chest is in line with the floor. You’re going to look down the tip of your
nose and see if you can lift your feet up off the floor, and you’re just going to balance
on the one elbow. Take a breath or two here, and when you’re ready go ahead and come back
down to the floor.
