The next thing I’m going to demonstrate
to you is just a basic straddle. This also helps you change directions on the step. You’re
going to enter the straddle side ways. If you’re on the right side, your right foot
is going to come up on top of the bench, we’ve been here before, and you’re going to straddle
down. Since we’re on the right side, that right leg is going to come up again on top
of the bench. Straddle that bench, it’s okay for the bench be between your feet. Bring
that bench between your feet, basic straddle, perfect. Lets try it on the other side, exit
off. Left side, left leg up, straddle that bench, basic left. There you good, hop up
left leg good. This is a basic straddle on the left side. You want to equally distribute
the work on each leg. Work the right leg and then work the left. Stand up nice and tall,
entire foot on the platform, entire foot on the floors, perfect.
