and you’re wondering how to get started then this video is definitely for you. Hi, I’m FitnessPhreek; and on this channel I do fun fitness videos, to inspire you to

And if you are new to this channel please consider subscribing. Not everyone
has the opportunity to find a class because of location, work, your schedules and every other thing that comes with life in general. Not having an instructor or
attending a live class does not mean you don’t have to enjoy the benefits of yoga
so having the opportunity to practice yoga at home may just be your best bet. A typical yoga class can last anytime between 15 minutes to 60 minutes.
I’m guessing I probably need help with getting a full structured yoga class
going, so I’ve got you covered. Check out the Yoga Wave app because this
is how I’m able to practice yoga in the convenience of my home. I’ve talked about
Yoga Wave app in some of my previous videos so I’m going to link them in the
description below make sure you check them out from when I had my first yoga
practice to all the benefits that Yoga Wave app brings to me. To help you get
started with practicing yoga at home the first thing I’d say is establish an initial yoga practice. Let me give you five simple yoga poses that you can do to achieve this. A simple Mountain Pose where you have your hands above
your head and then you take deep breaths six to seven times or maybe even eight
times this Mountain Pose helps you to improve your posture and even your
stability. Another yoga pose you can do to establish that practice is a Tree Pose. Now the next step on how to practice
home yoga is to plan. How many times a week do you want to practice? It could be
as often as three times a week of which I’m not telling you that you should stretch that far because coming from a place where you haven’t even been practicing yoga before, you want to start with a very realistic goal like maybe once a
week or once in two weeks or once a month Whatever plan you choose for
yourself would be fine so long as you are able to follow through on this plan.
Along with planning is, to choose a comfortable place for you to practice. Set aside a comfortable place in your home that you know you will be able to
practice yoga without getting distracted. Also, gather the equipment that you’re
going to need to be able to practice conveniently. A yoga mat, stretchy thights, you would also need a close-fitting top. You really don’t need any footwear, I practice yoga bare feet. There is no point in all the planning, if you do
not take action. Practice practice practice practice, this is the magic step.
The typical structure of a yoga class should be like this – for the warm-up you have
more of breathing exercises. It’s something you can easily do by taking
deep breaths holding it for a period and then just releasing the breath slowly. For the second part of a structured yoga class the actual poses, poses range from
the easy ones so the intermediate ones and then to the higher poses if you are a
beginner you definitely want to start with the easier poses and for the last
bits of a yoga class you have to the cool down. In this part you have more of meditation and cooling your mind and your body and then end
the workout in style. Just so you know, yoga is for everyone and whatever
level it is you are in your physical fitness you can actually fit it into
your lifestyle and once you set your mind to it you can establish a strong
yoga home practice that would help you maintain a very good physical and mental
health. Like I like to say, always be accountable because when you are
accountable to someone about something you are more likely going to stick with
it in the long run I can’t wait for the weekend when I get to practice my yoga.
It always makes me feel so relaxed and calm in fact when I’m done my practice I
literally just lay there and almost just doze off but then I tell myself
ok get up it’s time to start your day this is a Saturday morning let’s get
working up up up up up up So, I want to know what your biggest challenge could
be, when it comes to practicing yoga at home let me know in the comments section
hopefully we can come up with a way to overcome those challenges. Smash the like
