Can Yoga Make You Taller? | FACT OR MYTH?


have you ever wondered if yoga actually
makes you taller? stick around and you’re gonna find out hey everyone it’s your girl Amanda the buzzed coach I’m an online health accountability coach helping women to lose weight and to live more fulfilled lives so a lot of people that
do yoga oftentimes will report that they feel taller and a lot of their friends will say wow looks like you’ve sprouted overnight We’ll go into this a little further and really understand does yoga really help you
gain inches or is it a myth? so here’s just a little background there’s a natural phenomenon that every human being goes through every single day so it’s very natural throughout the day to shrink
essentially by about as much as a quarter-inch gravity works its magic on every human being and while we are in the upright position walking running doing whatever our bodies begin to succumb to gravity and we tend to lose inches during the day and then when we go to sleep at night because our bodies
are in a horizontal position it allows our bodies to decompress and to stretch
back out again this has happened to us every single day so taking all this into account when it comes to yoga yoga does not help you actually gain inches in your body rather yoga does give you the appearance of looking taller so one of the added benefits of yoga is improved posture, improved
flexibility and a heightened sense of self-confidence what that means is you are walking taller you’re sitting better you’re positioning yourself in such a
way that your shoulders are back your head is forward, your chin is up so this is actually just a little-known trick to make you appear taller and much more
confident even though I’m not
taller I feel taller I feel bigger than life when I do yoga so if you’re looking to improve your posture and appear taller Yoga is a really great option for you I highly recommend adding a yoga routine into your day every single day so one yoga program
