Gentle Yoga Poses : Yoga Bridge pose

In the bridge there is different variations
and not all variations for every one but it is still a gentle form in the one I show you
today. You take your heels together, toes apart, and bring your knees together and walk
the heels in towards you and take your arms right down on the floor, with your arms down
on the floor spread out your fingers and the energy flows freely. Set your head right into
the floor comfy so your neck isn’t tense and your shoulders aren’t tight. Now visualize
a string attached to your naval and you are going to lift up that naval so your lower
back comes off the floor and then you are going to feel your spine peeling off the floor.
Now the weight of your body goes in towards your shoulders, tip your chin in toward your
chest, your hands are flat on the floor, now many people take the bridge and stop right
here, take a deep breath in, exhaling. Now you can stay right here and control by taking
the hands underneath you, lift your arms off the floor and reach those hands as you place
your fingers together, breathe in deep through your nose, exhale, at this point you can feel
the thighs tightening right up. You can take it one more step further by lifting that right
foot, take a deep breath in and then exhale and then lift up the left foot, inhale, and
exhale and then you can release the hands and lower the back down on the floor again
and then bring your knees right in towards you, give them a quick squeeze and then release
out.
