So our first yoga pose that we’ll explore
is mountain pose. So Brooke is going to be demonstrating mountain pose. She’s aligning
her toes straight forward and she’s pressing her feet down into the floor. Really using
the muscles through the fronts of the legs and when she comes up through the torso she’s
going to bring her shoulders up and then back and down so that the shoulders are open and
the heart is more open. She’s got a straight line from the crown of her head all the way
down to her ankles and she’s steady and still and centered just like a mountain would be.
This pose is good to promote good posture and to also kind of help you focus.
