Hi everybody my name is Maryann with clever yoga and I’m gonna show you how to do some yoga poses on your clever yoga balance pad to help increase balance stability and just strength in each of your poses. So.. you gonna find a comfortable place to place your balance pad.. you can do this at home in your living room, you can do this at the yoga studio, outside, wherever you feel most comfortable.. go ahead and place that balance pad in a place where you have space and then you can go ahead and just start getting into poses. So.. one of the things that you can do is if you start your flow.. just inn.. nice inhale.. exhalation and if you go into.. just.. back bend poses like this, you start to notice that once you out of your center and you feet are together, you gonna start a wobbling a little bit So.. that’s okay that’s all we want we want to work on that wobbles, so you might not be able to get in to poses as far or as advance as you used to, but that’s okay we’re going to strengthens all those little muscles that are surrounding your ankles, your feet, your legs and the major muscles in your body so that they become stronger and more stable through out all our poses. So.. if your here you might only get to.. dropping your head slightly back’n up and as you can see I’m already beginning to loose my balance just looking up.. whoo… and if you want to you can go ahead and drop your head back.. hugh.. But making fun.. make it a really good positive thing for you do it as much as you want. If you need to you can go ahead and stabilize your back.. and just focus.. woofs.. I’m good right here.. I’m good look’n up.. huuh.. I don’t have to go any further than this squeezing my butt, squeezing like core.. and if you fall of that’s totally fine. So.. as you can see just a very basic pose like as standing back then is going to change the whole ball game completely, you can do this doing your forward bend so you can start of with just a nice half forward bend.. You can move forward into deeper forward bends, which I feel personally is a lot easier than going backwards coz this just looking up you loose your whole side of the horizon and everything. One of the things that I really like this for.. is when you do stepping out poses so if I’m out here.. and I wanna step out nice big step and you might kinda just get in to this poses a little bit more unnaturally and.. I wanna come in to my low lunge position here.. You gonna see that my front leg is working so much harder. Then if we just flat on the floor if I look up or by throwing a twist even more so and you can see it shake’n and this good this what we want. So you can do this for a lot of different poses. You can do this for your warrior poses, your triangle poses and just holding each pose .. For as long as you normally would for each practice and if it means that your stepping down and modifying the pose to be less advance than you used to.. All the better its going to strengthens your whole core and all your muscles to help you get into those more advance poses much more effectively. So.. Use that clever yoga pad for some of your standing poses and some of those wide legged spread poses and play with not only placing it just in front place it in the back too.. So.. from here a triangle.. let see how that’s gonna work for the back leg now coz its work’n hugh.. and just.. put play around with it.
