PoserKids Pulse | KANE’S BEST FRIEND | Kids Yoga News

Hi Poserkids, Alex Andra here thanking
you as always for checking in with the poser pulse. Our first story today is
about loyalty. Loyalty is the state of being loyal to someone or something or a
strong feeling of support or allegiance. Do you know which animal is commonly
noted as being the most loyal of all animals? That’s right, dogs are frequently
referred to as man’s best friend because of the amazing loyalty that they show to
their human counterparts. how is that for a canine companion? research claims that
dogs are more human-like in their behaviors than any other animal. For
example a study found that dogs can express empathy to humans. researchers
have also found dogs can understand verbal and physical gestures from humans
as well as read their facial expressions. humans can also accurately interpret the
meaning of dog barks this ability to communicate something not found between
other species continues to increase their loyalty to one another. Do you know
that dogs also do yoga perhaps the most recognized pose and all of yoga is named
after man’s best friend? Downward facing dog pose, downward dog, is given its name
because it resembles the shape of a dog. Stretching this pose helps to strengthen
stretch and reduce stiffness in the legs while also strengthening the upper body.
Regular practice of this pose rejuvenates the entire body and gently
stimulates your nervous system. Don’t skip a beat, we’ll be right back with
more of the poser pulse. Have a poodle that made a doodle? Grab the SuperDuper
pooper-scooper and watch the duty turn into something of beauty. Just scoop
think happy thoughts and let the SuperDuper pooper-scooper do the rest
once you scoop millions of tiny Dee doodling molecules go to work turning
that Duty into something of beauty. Turn that mass into much less stress:
SuperDuper pooper-scooper. Welcome back poser kids; recently we
spent some time with a very inspiring man and his special dog a service dog my
name is Kane Urban and my service dog’s name is Ellie. she comes from a company
called canine aids independence, and she’s trying to do things like open the doors, turn off and on lights, opens my fridge,
picks up stuff, like my TV controls. that kind of stuff. mostly that’s her job in
life is to help me out, and she is absolutely everywhere. A disability
is typically what someone sees as someone having something different with
them so it might catch something a wheelchair but it’s great all of my
muscles are weak so I have a normal feeling and everything. if you hit my leg
or step on my foot I can feel it just like you. but I promise lifting up myself
is one of the greatest things, like having a service dog. Children are more comfortable to interact with
you because they feel at ease. we have a dog and the most important word is absolutely
trust, and I trust her and she trusts me. I really care for her. I Walk her
every day. I love to walk on the trail and enjoy the beautiful weather. every
person has different goals that they’re better at and different things that
they’re worse at. Just because you can’t hit a baseball doesn’t mean you can’t be
the greatest chess player, or just because you can’t really beat a chess
player doesn’t mean you can’t be the greatest mom or greatest dad. I don’t think that just because you’re different has to define
what you are. Service dogs spend most of their time
working but my dogs spend a majority of their time playing. One place that
dogs love to play is the dog park recently we went to check out the grand
opening of one such dog park in our own community of Fort Worth. we even found
some poser kids and some downward dogs talk about fun in the park. And now a
word from our sponsor! PKY TV presents David Allen pose’s greatest hits,

ways to show love and loyalty to dogs if you have a family pup at home? There are
many responsibilities that you can help with. you can help feed the dog, exercise
the dog, while playing fetch, running or rolling around. you can help train and
walk your dog, and of course make sure you have plenty of bags to pick up after
your dog. our pose of the month comes to us from Kennedy, a poser kid with an
extraordinary pose. right this picture here and it’s called a wig finally folks!
sensational. ask your parents’ permission and have them send us a video of your
very own pose. this could be you! and now an exclusive sneak preview of next
month’s episode of poser kids. All right kids, sit up criss-cross applesauce,
up really tall, we’re gonna listen to the teacher. okay welcome to class everyone
we’re going to start by standing up, coming to the top of our mats, breathe in,
lift both arms all the way up, breathe out. Lower down folding inhale halfway lift, whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa I think we
all need to take a break why don’t we try to just take a moment and be
completely still and try to put our thoughts inside our body? it’s kind of
hard but I think you can do it. this is super hard for me, kids. Can you help me? I
need your help, let’s all do this together. Okay please help me, I need help
with this, I’m going to have to hold my puppy breath for that one. Can’t wait.
That does it for this edition of the poser pulse. I’m Alexandra reminding you
to keep calm and pose on!
