The Way The Tea & The Life Podcast (episode 777)

This smells so good. Hello and welcome back to “The Way, The Tea and The Life.” As always, I’m your host, Tabitha. and I’m your host, Trinitea. We want to get right into our most popular segment today which is of course, Is it a sin? Yeah, this is where we tell you if something is a sin that you might not realize is a sin and we inform you that it is a sin. So, we got a lot of questions after our last podcast episode Fall is here. Harvest is coming and we did get asked about pumpkin spice. A few people tagged us in a video that was on the facebook and we just thought it was awful. It was a viral video which
is a term I do not care for, but it was two girls singing about pumpkin spice
and we found it reprehensible. “Thankful, blessed and pumpkin spice obsessed” An obsession is a very very dangerous thing. When you see a pumpkin in a field
like the Lord intended, there is no spice coming out of it! There is no… Pumpkins don’t make spice. Any time you take something that is perfect in the
part of intended creation and you turn it into some hybrid, you’re treading on
dangerous very dangerous ground. The next question we had and I think this
couldn’t have been brought up at a more significant time because of the rise of
the athleisure trend, was yoga pants. Are yoga pants a sin? Uhh, they are. I’m just gonna ask my friend Trinitea to stand for just a moment. This is shameful. As you can very clearly see, her fruit of knowledge of good and evil is all up on display. Here comes the snake down her thigh to tempt whoever happens to be within eyeshot. There’s really nothing between my epidermis and the yoga pant. Your pants are covered with the lycra of lies. There are such better workout attire out there, cargo pants. There are culottes. Maxi skirts Oh, a maxi skirt is a wonderful way to exercise especially if you enjoy speed walking,
which I do. Can I take these off now? Oh yeah, I think you absolutely should. Okay. The next thing that we were asked about is the Roomba. It’s an electronic device that sucks up everything on your floors when you’re not looking. A Proverbs 31 woman is described as someone who rises early, buys a field,
tends the field. I do not recall any part of that passage where the Lord asks you
to vendor out your responsibilities to a demon robot. Just because it’s convenient
doesn’t mean it’s not a sin. Thank you so much for joining us on this episode of The Way The Tea and The Life. That’s the tea. You know, that was a hard conversation but I think we had to have it.
