This Is Why You’re Not Happy Or Healthy


You want a happy healthy life? It’s time
to break the cycle. Desperately trying to lose weight thinking it’ll make you
happy without addressing the real problem within. We try to change our
bodies because of what we hate instead of loving ourselves enough to change. We
think a number on the scale will somehow validate us. We spend our lives being
miserable trying to lose weight rather than losing weight to live a better life. We don’t go after the things we want in fear we might fail and in turn
accept we’ll stay the same, living a life we say we don’t want. We
remain friends with people we don’t care about, stay in relationships with people
we don’t love, and jobs we can’t stand because we’re afraid there’s nothing
better. We look for easy solutions to our problems not realizing it’s through the
struggle real growth happens. We put everyone else in front of
ourselves until we’re run into the ground and worthless to anyone. We don’t
realize the harder it is to accomplish something the more confidence you grow. Whenever our goal gets too hard we give up on ourselves and teach our children
to do the same. We predict our future based on our past we make decisions that
aren’t in our best interest because we’re afraid of what other people might
think. We won’t make a decision out of fear it’ll be wrong not realizing this
means you’re okay with staying the same. We don’t realize that fear is good
because fear only means it’s important to you. We don’t realize everything we
want out of life is on the other side of fear. We wait for other people to pick us up
because we’re afraid to take a chance on ourselves. We forget what we should remember and we
remember what we should forget. We sit around saying someday not
realizing someday never comes and pretty soon you’re out of time. We complain
about not having time while putting out meaningless fires all day and scrolling
through our phones. We complain about lack of money without even knowing where
we spend it. We pray and beg for opportunities but
when they come what we’re too afraid to take advantage of them. We get trapped in
an endless cycle of doing the same things getting the same results wishing
something we’re different. We spend our lives trying to sprint to the finish
line and we don’t even realize that true happiness come from when we don’t care
how long it takes. We avoid anything that brings us pain
not realizing it’s the pain that causes us to change and we’ll never change
until you can’t take staying the same. We stop chasing our own dreams
because of what other people say not realizing they can’t possibly understand
because it’s YOUR dream. Worst of all you believe the stories you create in your
head as to why you can’t do something. Your spouse can’t stop you, your friends
can’t stop you, your boss can’t stop you, the universe cannot stop you. Only you
can. All these fears stop you in your tracks and the irony is there’s only one
fear you should be worried about. The fear of living your life with regret. It’s time to break the cycle.
