How’s it going my name is Greg Walker,
owner of Crossfit Golden. We’re gonna give you a quick gym tour today. We have a
9,000 square foot facility. 6,000 thousand square feet of it is devoted to our group training classes, 3,000 thousand square feet is
dedicated to All-Day Open Gym. We offer about 10 to 11 classes per day, all
our classes have 2 coaches in them so if you’re new, you’re going to be working
with one coach, with the more experienced athletes working with the other coach.
Usually our class sizes average anywhere from about 13-15 per class. We have a huge rig system here with over 13 squat racks. We have over 38 barbells. Try to avoid these 2 working out. All the weight in here is rubber.
High temp plates we have 10s, 15s, 25s, 45s. The only thing that we have
metal-plate wise, are our change plates here. Then we also have
fractionals as well. All different size med balls, slam balls. Dumbbells ranging from 5 pounds all
the way up to 100 pounds, in multiple sets. Everybody who joins a gym goes
through an intro and does our baseline workout. Once you’ve done that you
can just jump right into classes. Boxes we have everything from as small as 8
inches all the way up to 30 inches. Water bottle filling station, crossover
symmetry system, we have one here multiple on our open gym side, great for
shoulder health. Shower room on this side You do not have to sign up for classes when you come to Crossfit Golden. You just have to sign in whenever you come to
class, and you can come to any class that you want. We have kettlebells ranging from 5 pounds all the way up to 80. Jump ropes over on this wall are all color-coded based on height. We track all our workouts via Wodify software, which you have remote access to. We like to take the fitness that people develop in our classes, and apply it outside the gym. Whether it’s hiking 14ers, doing 200 mile relays, mountain bike races. Over here is our newly expanded open gym area. So as long as the gym is open, and you
have an open gym membership or an unlimited membership, you can do whatever you want over here. We have a lot of different
machines to help my accessory work, and more hyperprophy style training. So we
have a leg extension/lying leg curl plate loaded machine, preacher
curl bench, belt squat machine, reverse-hyper, t-bar row, Rogue Fitness
unilateral leg press. Can actually detach it so that you’re using both legs
individually. Another shower unit, so we have two showers. Jerk blocks, lifting
platforms. This is also where our nationally recognized Barbell Club meets
a couple times a week. All the plates along here are all kilos.
when you’re competing in powerlifting or Olympic lifting, you’re using kilos. A complete set of dumbbells from five pounds all the way up to 100. Assault Fitness Air Runner,
multiple Echo Bikes by Rogue. Decline bench, incline bench, military bench, Ski Erg. Cableway system for doing back exercises, lat pulls, tricep work. Then we also
have our Elevated Legs system in the corner for recovery. So any member that
is unlimited, is able to use that anytime they want. Alright guys, I hope
