Woman Does Yoga in Airplane Aisle

Woman Does Yoga in Airplane Aisle

Nowadays when you fly,
you see a lot of people with dogs, but you don’t normally see someone
doing the downward dog. Recently yoga teacher, Katie K, Kate K was captured on
video performing leg stretches. Camel pose and
a forward fold on an airplane. Dressed in patterned yoga pants and
wearing headphones. K seemed unbothered by her fellow
passengers as she went through her moves. While many people were shocked that
K treated the airplane aisle like her living room. Some doctors actually praised her
stretching because it can actually help avoid blood clots.>>That is true.>>So ladies, do you think people should
namastay in their seat during a flight?>>Yes.
>>[LAUGH]>>Yes, I’m sorry, that’s just a distraction, people
can’t get up and go to the bathroom. What about the rest of us that want
to stretch and walk up the aisle? But chick here doing a downward dog and
a backward bend. No, thank you, I already hate flying,
so I feel like if I saw her doing that, she would make me more nervous.>>Well, one thing is,
the floor is very dirty, they don’t get to change those floors.>>Dirty!
>>That’s what I was thinking about.>>Yeah, I knew you would be concerned.>>Dude, her hands all up full flat
down on there with her special parts.>>But more importantly,
that is a moving aircraft, you guys, turbulence can happen at any time. And if she is, and it’s not so much,
she could say, well, I can control myself, turbulence happens. She may hurt somebody else, okay?>>Yeah.
>>That is true.>>So that’s the point.>>Yes.
>>But maybe she was doing that while
the seat belt sign was off.>>That doesn’t mean anything.>>I know. I only have sympathy for her only because
I flew a lot when I was pregnant. And the doctors did say,
it’s very important for you to get up, walk around, move. I didn’t move as quickly as she did, but I was that woman in the aisle
like stretching out.>>But
I think she should have went to the back. My thing is, you go to the front, go to
the back, instead of the actual aisle.>>You should, that is true. You should keep it-
>>The aisle way was narrow, but at least she did it quickly.>>Yes.
>>She knew what she was doing.>>We don’t know how long she did it. That was just a little bit of,
that was a clip, so.>>Yeah.
>>It looked like one flow to me.>>Yeah, that’s how good she is at yoga,
but the thing is, she was still hitting some people.>>And you’re still in the way, yeah.>>Yeah.>>You know what’s crazy?>>Well, as long as she smelled good,
I mean, if somebody was doing->>[LAUGH]>>No, no.>>Legs all over.>>[LAUGH]
>>Yoga, I mean, let’s be real, for me, it’s a lot of sexual moves. And you’ve got some people
on the planes like this.>>Yes.
>>[LAUGH]>>You’re like, back up, buddy.>>Yes.
>>You know?>>Some of those pants can be
really sheer, go in the back.>>But I want to tell you, there’s this one time I went on a 16
hour flight to Singapore, right? And this was the coolest move I thought
this mom did in order to kind of respect the space that you have to share for
16 hours.>>Right.
>>She went around the aisles and she handed me and Mama Mai,
she was with me, a bag of cookies. And on the bag of cookies, it said,
I was just born a month ago. I’m sorry that I have to be a pain for
the next 16 hours, I might cry, but I hope these cookies
will help make it better.>>My gosh.
>>And I honestly was so touched because, I’m going to put the picture up in my
Insta stories because I never forgot it. And the next 16 hours, of course,
the baby cried, the baby had to go up and down the aisles because it went crazy. And everybody was just a community.>>Yeah.>>That’s nice.>>I think when you communicate,
you can turn people into a community.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>That is a great idea.>>But I will say-
>>I thought of doing that, I tried, I just never got around to do it.>>Well, I will say, it is important,
if you’re on long flights, to get up, walk around and stretch,
it is very important to do that. So do it, but just be respectful
of everybody else’s space.>>Absolutely.
>>[APPLAUSE]
