Yoga for Kids : Yoga for Kids: Seedling Exercise


Next we’re going to be doing what I call the
seedling exercise. So let’s start in child’s pose. So let’s bring out legs under our
bodies and bringing ourselves down to our mats. With our arms next to our legs and curling
ourselves up into a tiny little seed and let’s start to imagine that we’re a seed that’s
planted under the ground and we have soil all around our bodies and then we can start
to feel the sun warming our seed and as the sun makes us warmer we can start to grow.
Growing really slowly. Up and up growing taller and taller and let’s reach our arms way
up high. Reaching tall to the sky. Reaching for that sun. Growing up really tall like
a big kid. Now let’s grow ourselves into tree. Let’s bring our hands together and
one foot on the leg. Good job.
