hey guys this is Aishwarya and welcometo five reasons for everything if you’re wondering why am I sitting in this posture it’s because I want to today talk about a personal experience of mine, which is about how i did 5 or 6 exercises every day to get rid of shoulder pain neck pain and cervical spondylitis so we will do those exercises but please do subscribe and hit that Bell icon so that we can get started right away sit comfortably and cross your legs if you cannot sit in this position then just sit at ease but make sure your spine and neck are straight and aligned extend your arms in front of you at shoulder height close your fist and roll your fist clockwise make sure your elbows are straight so that you feel the rear end of your neck flexing now reverse the hand movement anti-clockwise repeat 10 to 20 times based on how many times you can do it easily keep sitting in the same position your arms should be relaxed place your hands on your thighs now do forward shoulder rotations only using your shoulder muscles it is extremely important to keep your neck and spine completely straight now reverse the movement and repeat 5 to 10 times again now let’s move to the next exercise maintain the same sitting position back straight and try to touch your chin to your chest and rotate your neck clockwise extending the neck muscles towards your shoulder try this for as far as you can make sure you feel a comfortable stretch do 5 to 10 rotations repeat the exercise anti-clockwise for five or ten rotations relax sitting with your face forward keep your neck and back straight now turn your head toward your left side now turn your head towards your right shoulder stretch comfortably try to stretch back as far as you can repeat 5 to 10 times stay in the same sitting position spine straight bend your neck forward and try to touch your chin to your chest slowly now bend your neck back as far as you can go comfortably you will feel a relaxing stretch in your neck repeat this for five to ten times relax now bend your neck towards your left shoulder now bend the neck towards your right shoulder slowly now towards the left shoulder repeat 5 to 10 times try to bend comfortably towards your shoulder but do not lift your shoulders come back to the original position neck and back straight and shoulders completely relaxed lift your shoulder up towards your ears then release your shoulders slowly stretching them down comfortably keep your neck straight at all times repeat 5 to 10 times so guys these are a few exercises that you can do to get relief from neck pain and shoulder pain and cervical spondylitis if you go to office everyday and you work on your laptop for a long period of time I recommend you must do these and everybody should do them because we spend a lot of time bent over our mobile phones and it’s not really good for the neck and your overall posture so you can do these in office you can do these at home you can do this sitting on a chair all all you really require is a small place and a mat or a chair so try to do these and see that your pain will get better if you are in acute pain your neck is really hurting your shoulders are really tense and you think you need a doctor please do not wait go to a doctor get yourself checked and figure out if the problem is serious or not but on a daily basis to do these exercises and you will surely get relief this is Aisshwarya saying bye bye for now do subscribe hit that Bell icon and ofcourse if you think that this video can be of value to somebody else do share give me a thumbs up and I will see you really soon do what you love what you do
