Hi! I’m Emilien Badoux. Welcome to my yoga lessons designed to improve your snowboarding. Concentration and balance are fundamental elements of snowboarding. Today, I’ll be teaching you the Tree pose to help you improve both. Stare at a point straight in front of you. Inhale. Place your foot above your knee, or below it if you can’t go any higher. Open your leg. Place your hands together in front of your heart. Imagine roots growing out of your foot. Inhale while raising your arms like branches reaching for sunlight. Maintain the pose for one minute. Exhale. Lower your foot. Repeat on the opposite side of your body.
