Yoga in the classroom bundle

Yoga in the classroom bundle

– Hi everybody it’s Margaret here from Your Therapy Source. And I wanted to share with you some amazing products, from the Yoga in the Classroom bundle. I am really excited about this new product we have and our new creator, who’s a certified Yoga Instructor. I have my computer out so I’m gonna be going through all the items that are included in this giant download. I really wanted to highlight each thing because this bundle is probably one of the best things we sell on the website. So, here’s one of the first things that you’re gonna get. It’s the Breathing Exercises for Kids. I’ve actually printed them out and laminated them into small cards. You get the BEE-Breath, Balloon Breath and on the back of each one are the directions of
how to do the breathing. So that’s the breathing exercise card deck you’re gonna get it as a digital download. You can print it or you can do what I did and print it and laminate it and put it on a key ring makes really handy for classroom teachers. Okay, this is my favorite part of the whole download. You can get just this product right now or you can get it as part of the bundle. But I wanted to start of with this because, just so you can see it if you’re only interested in that Chair Yoga Poses. These are amazing. It’s perfect for teachers
or therapists who, you don’t have a lot of space, you wanna get the yoga in, maybe you, don’t wanna
disrupt the whole classroom and get everybody up and moving around. But, still stretch out the muscles, improve some postural control, some core muscles, really stretch out your shoulder girdle from kids being hunched over all day. So this, pack is just amazing. So again I’ve downloaded it, printed it. Each card is three inches by five inches. And these are just a few
of my favorite poses. The Chair Pose, Cobra Pose. And notice how they’re all in their chairs, they’re not up running
around the classroom if that’s not your thing at that moment in time
during the school day. Excellent for core strengthening. Love this one. Kids are gonna get some
nice vestibular input. They have an inverted head position, very calming for some kids. Stretch out those legs. So those are some examples from the Chair Yoga Pose Cards. You get 40 of these in this one. And the Breathing Exercise, there is 30. I forgot to mention that, I’m just checking here as I go. Okay so, then also there’s
Yoga Poses for Kids card deck. This has 25, poses in it. And you get descriptions for each pose. But, this is it printed out so you can see what it’s like to print four to a page. You can print just one to a page. But it will be three
inches by five inches. So, these are great for any sort of day with
Yoga in the classroom. Alright. So the Yoga Activities for Kids, pack that comes with it. This is 68 page PDF document. This has 30 Yoga themes. And what’s great about this, what I really love is, here’s an example, the Shapes Yoga. It gives you a picture
exactly how to do it. But also, just a one page poster that you can hang up or you can put it on your screen for the whole class to see. So this is great to combine movement and learning, all at one time. There’s so many different themes but I printed out a few
of my favorites for you. Emotions Yoga. Beach Yoga sounded awfully nice to me it’s snowing here today. So Arctic Animals Yoga to go with my snow theme today. Okay, so that’s the Yoga
Activities for Kids. There’s 30 themes like I just showed you. Five Yoga poses for each theme with the easy reference
poster and the poses. Alright. Also, you get the
Monthly Kids Yoga Themes. 55 page PDF, 12 monthly Yoga themes. This one’s a little different. So here is Spring Yoga and you’re gonna get the Yoga poses. And also just kind of an overall feel of what the lesson’s gonna be for the kids so you can move through and they know what’s coming next and then the book recommendation. So, I’m gonna jump to, one of these, this book is included in the bundle. Let me find it printed out here. And so that would go with the Spring Yoga theme. And this is one of the
books that’s included. There’s three, picture books that are
included that you can print and read to the kids to
go along with your theme. “Good morning world,
Rachel said as she basked” “in the rays of the yellow sun.” And then here you have her picture doing the Extended Mountain Pose. So you can move through the book doing the Yoga as you go along with it. Some of the, picture books are not included. There’s three that are
included in the bundle. But, there is some YouTube videos that show some of the books that are included in the bundle. So you could go to YouTube and reference those if you wanted to. Then there’s also, the Kids Yoga Class Ideas. This has 12 Yoga themes as well. And also has five
recommended children’s books. So this is Transportation Yoga. This is perfect if you work at any sort of a early childhood classroom, kindergarten, first grade. So it’s gonna go through five Yoga poses that are
related to transportation. You’re gonna pretend to be a surf board, a boat, sailboat, train, motorbike. And the nice thing about this is you can combine literacy
with this really easily because also included are five book suggestions that
will work really well with those five Transportation Yoga Poses. Again, this one comes with the
Kids Yoga Class Ideas. There’s 12 monthly themes like I just showed you. You’re also gonna get the individual pose images which if anybody’s interested I think I might do a separate training on how to use those images. You can create your own
visual support boards, you could create your own Yoga sequences. A lot of products never, also give you the images that you can use for your personal use. So I think I will though create a separate video where I’ll show you how you can import images in PowerPoint. I’d need to do that as a screen-share. And here’s, There’s also a Monthly Planner page. I didn’t print that out,
I probably should’ve. There’s couple of posters, 40 Classroom Yoga Ideas makes
it really easy for teachers to have some ideas right
at their finger tips ready to go, hang that up. And if you’re a homeschooler,
40 Homeschool Yoga Ideas. So again, this bundle is so loaded with stuff that I have to say it’s not
a product I created. But, it’s probably my favorite that we currently have on sale here at Your
Therapy Source right now for a couple of reasons. One, there’s just so much variety. Two, the illustrations are beautiful. Three, if you’re not
really sure about Yoga or how you can bring it into the classroom, this helps you learn everything you need to know to be a powerhouse in
the classroom with Yoga. Of course my favorite as I mentioned are these Chair Yoga Pose Cards. I’ve never seen anything
like this before where everything is done in a
seated or somewhat standing. Some of them are in stranding but they’re right next
to the student’s chair. I just think this is a great resource for all classroom teachers and therapists. And parents, just great
way for small spaces. Of course the breathing exercises. But, the posters, I mean the
list goes on and on. I love the books that come with it too. It’s a really nice complementary way to include reading with movement, which we all know is
wonderful for children. And sorry, I’m trying to
find my favorite ones. And these are another
one of my favorite ones. I mean, look at how simple this is. Zero prep. Who doesn’t love zero prep? So all you have to do is print them out and okay class, we’re gonna do our
Arctic Animals Yoga now. If you’re doing an Arctic
Animals Yoga theme. Like I said beach theme, social-emotional learning, we have Emotions Yoga. There’s also on, in one of them I know there’s a Calming Yoga, I mean that’s another thing. How great would these be for if you had calming, quiet corner? You know once you teach the children how to do it, it provides a great visual support that they can learn to
calm themselves down. Again this too, a lot of times quite corners there’s not a lot of space or you can have the Yoga Pose Cards for Kids in that quite corner as well, to help calm them down. So, just to recap. You’re gonna get so many things. You’re gonna get. Again, it’s all digital documents. You’re gonna get the card poses, you’re gonna get the card sets, the posters, the lesson plans, you can make up your own planner. There’s that one planning page. The story books. The nice thing about these too is because they’re in digital format you could just show them on your computer or the classroom screen and read aloud from there. Just all ready to go for you. Who can beat that? Ready to go, we all
don’t have enough time. We’re gonna get movement in the classroom, we’re gonna get Yoga, we’re gonna get mind and body activities, all at once with this great bundle. So you gonna want to head over to yourtherapysource.com where you can get your hands on, all this great stuff. Alright and stay tuned. And we’ll try and work on, getting tutorial to show you
closer about those images that also come with the bundle, that are real super bonus in my opinion because normally you
don’t get any of that. So head on over to Your Therapy Source and you’re gonna look for that Yoga in the Classroom bundle. Alright, email us if
you have any questions. Bye.
