Hi, my name is Cindy Mastry with Yoga Etc.
Studio on behalf of Expert Village. This is April and she’s going to help me demonstrate
half moon with a bind. So she’s standing in a wide legged stance and she’s going to inhale
and lift her arms up and she’s going to turn her left foot out to the side and her right
heel back. She’s going to bend her left knee and come into a where to position lengthening
out the armpits to the fingertips, shoulder girdle over the hip girdle. She’s going to
inhale in and she’s going to lengthen out in the side angle, place her arm down. (Good)
Now she’s going to bring her hand just a little bit further forward and out to the side and
she’s going to bring her back leg forward and lift up into half moon pose. (Good) Notice
how she’s flexing her foot and squeezing through her thigh which helps give her the long line
of energy and also helps with the balance. She’s going to bend her back leg, reach to
her hand, open through her chest and expand through her heart sending that energy out
in all directions. (Good) Then she’s going to release all the way down, lift herself
back up. (Good, beautiful) That’s half moon with a bind.
