So begin just lying on your back with your
back straight and your feet flopped apart. For this star burst stretch, what we’re going
to do is, open the legs out, expand them out. At the same time we’re going to take the arms
up and out as well. So you should feel as if, from the center of your body, pulling
out in all four directions outwards, extend them out, stretch out, reach out as far as
you can, as if you’re stretching out for the first time in your whole life. Then in this
position, you simply want to let go of your muscles and sink into the ground. Go deep
into your breathing and allow the breath now to fill the open spaces of your body.
